Anchoring Heavy Equipment with Belzona

In this video, we demonstrate the process of anchoring heavy equipment onto a concrete base using Belzona 4111. The machinery experienced shear failure of its anchor bolts due to continuous use and dynamic loads. As a result, the equipment lost its secure connection to the foundation, leading to excessive vibration and movement, which put other mechanical components at risk. To resolve this issue, Belzona created new anchoring holes and applied Belzona 4111 to fix the anchor bolts and grout the underside of the equipment. Belzona 4111, an epoxy-based concrete repair material, can withstand the compressive forces needed to support the weight of the equipment while also providing enough ductility to better handle the constant effects of dynamic loads and stresses compared to traditional concrete.
